Useful websites for revision

Mymaths.co.uk - Great explanations and online worksheets. Try the booster packs for Grades D to C, C to B and A to A*. Your school must have a subscription for you to use Mymaths.co.uk

Sam Learning - Another subscription site with a good coverage of revision materials for Maths and other subjects

BBC bitesize revision - Useful revision site from the BBC with explanations and practise questions. Better for the Higher level.

SchoolWorkOut revision notes - Useful explanations of many topics.

S-Cool revision notes - More explanations.

Getting a grade C - Interactive revision of grade C topics using web pages and PowerPoint files to download.

Video tutorials

Another great resource are video tutorials for explanations of topics and worked examples. See the Video Tutorials page for a list of links.

Revision guides

If you want a revision guide book, some of the best come from CGP books. Make sure that you choose the correct book from modular or linear (UCC students need modular) and Higher or Foundation. You can also get workbooks full of questions and practice exam papers.

Practice and past papers

Below is a link to past papers on the AQA website for the current two tier GCSE (Higher & Foundation). Doing exam questions is possibly the best way to revise.

There are also papers from the old intermediate and higher exams linked below. They are still good for revision, but you need to be careful to pick out questions that are on the topics you need. If you are aiming for a C for example, the intermediate paper will contain some relevant topics.
